• Provide risk mitigation services to multiple clients • Participate in developing and delivering Sedgwick and client risk control service plans • Participate in large engagements requiring multiple analysts • Facilitate risk mitigation methods, procedures, and programs • Serve as liaison to Sedgwick colleagues and clients • Inspect workplaces and work sites to identify and document safety-law violations and dangers • Develop risk mitigation programs and procedures, including policies, standards, procedures, risk reduction strategies, training, and vendor application • Serve as local liaison to vendors and other parties • Communicate loss reports, presentations, analyses, interpretations, advice, and counsel • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to company policies, directives, and procedures • Participate in new business, product development, and client retention • Participate in local activities advancing the profession • Support quality programs • Perform other assigned duties
• Local to Richmond, VA • Bachelor's degree with major in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Safety, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred • Six (6) years of related risk services experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Experience with public entities, insurance, or risk pooling highly preferred • Ability to conduct site safety audits • Ability to conduct construction and manufacturing safety audits • GSP, CSP, ARM, PRC, or OHST certification preferred • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws • Travel as required
