• Manage and handle assigned claims while adhering to the company’s quality standards • Conduct thorough investigations and determine coverage and claim validity • Inspect affected sites and engage external vendors as required • Provide recommendations regarding reserves and prepare reports • Negotiate settlements within delegated authority limits • Participate in mediations and arbitrations as needed • Maintain accurate records in compliance with company standards and procedures • Assist with receivable collections for assigned claims • Take part in local branch marketing efforts • Develop new business opportunities
• Postsecondary education • Obtained or working toward a PAA designation • License or ability to obtain a provisional license • Valid driver’s license • Demonstrated claims adjusting and negotiation skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and computer literacy • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel • Ability to navigate and work within client-required ancillary systems • Ability to work effectively in a remote or home-based environment • Ability to meet or exceed expected performance levels
