• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and advise business partners throughout vendor sourcing processes • Develop sourcing strategies and partner with internal organizations to define requirements • Identify vendors and lead RFXs • Build and maintain supplier/vendor onboarding processes • Support execution of strategic business goals • Lead negotiation, writing, and review of contract requests and statements of work • Monitor and develop strategies for core critical suppliers • Educate and inform stakeholders and generate internal and external support • Lead projects involving third-party goods and services across corporate spend categories • Review and validate deliverables, resolve and mitigate issues, and create efficiencies • Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to colleagues • Administer personnel policies and follow staffing and training standards • Interview, hire, and establish performance development plans • Conduct colleague performance discussions • Perform other duties as assigned • Travel as required
• Ten (10) years of related experience required • Five (5) years of purchasing management experience • Two (2) years of contract negotiation experience • Two (2) years of supervision experience • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proven management/leadership skills • Excellent negotiating skills • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Credit security clearance confirmed via a background credit check required
