They provide strategic informatics consulting, workflow optimization, regulatory compliance support, system implementation, ongoing informatics maintenance, and tailored software development to help labs manage workflows, improve data quality, and scale operations.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary scientific and technical contact for customers during implementation projects • Utilize technical and domain expertise to understand client needs and translate them into solution designs, software requirements, and implementation plans • Create scope estimates and/or feature development requests for Implementation teams • Configure LIMS to meet user requirements • Create test plans and execute testing to ensure that the configured system meets client needs • Lead project coordination, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and expectations are clearly communicated and met • Develop customer-facing documentation and provide training to support the adoption • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer insights and informing product development.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong background in Life Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or related field), with hands-on lab or LIMS experience. • Familiarity with configuring scientific software or laboratory workflows, including scripting (e.g., Python), JSON, and SQL for data handling. • Knowledge of analytical workflows, particularly in Quality testing. • Proven ability to work directly with customers, translating technical and domain-specific needs into practical software solutions. • Excellent organizational skills with experience coordinating tasks and timelines across teams. • Clear, confident communicator who can educate, support, and build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Fast learner with a solutions-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail. • Experience implementing LIMS, LES, ELNs, or related lab informatics platforms. • Previous experience in a professional services, consulting, or project-based customer role. • Familiarity with software development processes and Agile teams.
