📋 Description

• Develop microservices and APIs for a major client in the payments market • Assist team members with business and technical questions • Support the tech lead with minor updates to documentation and processes • Communicate with clients clearly and confidently • Take initiative to resolve day-to-day team issues • Participate in client ceremonies • Collaborate with the team to understand the business and technical solution • Gather and define technical activities • Implement APIs and microservices

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with Node.js • Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL • Ability to work with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS or Koa.js • Strong understanding of Promises, Async/Await, the Event Loop, Streams and Worker Threads • Experience deploying Node applications and using Jenkins or similar tools • Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems • Queue patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka or IBM MQ) • Experience with Oracle database • Experience with MongoDB • Knowledge of data modeling, and creating and optimizing queries • Experience implementing authentication with JWT, OAuth or OAuth2 • Security best practices such as CORS configuration and protection against SQL Injection and XSS • Experience with automated testing, including unit tests and end-to-end integration tests • Familiarity with tools like Jest, Mocha, Chai and Supertest • Version control experience with GIT
