📋 Description

• Own motion design projects end-to-end, from brief through delivery, across major brand initiatives, campaigns, and tier-one events • Drive projects independently while keeping the creative director and leadership updated • Bring a strong creative point of view and define vision and executional standards • Design and animate directly for key initiatives requiring hands-on creative leadership • Maintain and evolve the brand motion language across events, market launches, and core brand touchpoints • Scale motion systems and workflows through standards, templates, toolkits, and best practices • Manage multiple projects and programs in parallel under pressure and tight deadlines • Reconcile leadership feedback and translate input into a clear creative path forward • Direct, mentor, and provide feedback to motion designers, freelancers, and agency partners • Partner with brand, marketing, product, and creative teams to align motion work with storytelling and business goals • Communicate with creative peers, project management, strategy, senior leadership, and business partners • Explore and integrate AI-driven tools and techniques to expand capabilities and improve team workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in motion design and creative direction, including prior leadership running workstreams and directing others • Strong creative point of view and ability to reconcile leadership feedback and provide clear direction • Portfolio demonstrating strong design and typography fundamentals, range of styles, and diverse project types • Mastery of motion and design principles, timing, keyframes, visual systems, speed curves, and value curves • Expert knowledge of After Effects, Cinema 4D, Redshift, Figma, and modern motion workflows • Experience with tier-one brand moments such as global events, major campaigns, or product launches • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Ability to develop project and initiative presentations from strategy to execution • Ability to align stakeholders around a creative vision and ask smart questions • Proven ability to run multiple projects and programs in parallel and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines • Strong time management and composure across competing priorities • Demonstrated people management experience, coaching and developing team members and directing contractors and external agencies • Experience leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into creative processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
