📋 Description

• Design and lead security solutions covering products, internal applications, infrastructure, enterprise systems, and observability • Perform threat modeling for existing systems and new product initiatives • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development and delivery workflows • Create, refine, and automate alerts, detections, observability tools, and response workflows using AI and agents • Participate in incident response and help lead it as part of the on-call rotation • Support governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI • Mentor engineers and share security best practices • Define security priorities and technical direction • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external security vendors • Evolve Shakepay’s AI platform, security capabilities, and observability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline, with significant security experience • Strong technical skills in one or more areas of security, with the ability to contribute across adjacent domains • Advanced hands-on experience with AI tools, agents, and automation applied to security engineering • Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS • Hands-on experience with incident response and on-call rotations • Excellent communication skills, sound technical judgment, and a strong sense of ownership • Fluency in English required
