📋 Description

• Partner with engineers and designers across product squads to improve acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations to uncover growth opportunities and drive better business decisions • Champion experimentation and decision frameworks to support fast, confident iteration • Define KPIs and success metrics • Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to understand user behavior and business performance • Identify opportunities through analysis of user journeys, lifecycle behavior, conversion funnels, and financial performance • Inform squad and company priorities with data-driven perspectives on impact, tradeoffs, and ROI • Build dashboards, models, and self-serve tools for growth and business performance visibility • Collaborate with the data team to maintain a shared, consistent data layer • Foster experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making across Shakepay

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, growth analytics, experimentation, or related roles in high-growth environments • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python • Deep understanding of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, forecasting, and KPI design • Strong product and business intuition • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, or product teams • Ability to operate autonomously and drive ambiguous projects from idea to execution • Strong communication and data-influencing skills • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with high attention to detail • Curiosity, speed, and bias toward action in fast-moving environments • Understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment • English fluency required • Bonus: experience in startup or high-growth consumer environments • Bonus: experience with PostHog, Statsig, or Amplitude • Bonus: experience with dbt, Snowflake, and modern data stacks • Bonus: experience with lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, or growth modeling • Bonus: existing Shakepay customer status or familiarity with the product • Bonus: interest in Bitcoin and non-sovereign money
