📋 Description

• Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety • Inform patients about all aspects of their exams • Ensure patients are cleared of contraindications and hazards • Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort • Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients during exams • Perform MRI scans according to center protocols • Administer intravenous contrast • Complete exam-related forms • Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry program • Provide films/CDs when appropriate • Forward data and films/CDs to the radiologist after exams • Assist clerical staff as needed • Clean and resupply equipment and rooms • Perform contrast administration

🎯 Requirements

• Prior MRI scanning experience • MRI certification • ARRT certification • CPR certification • ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations • Fantastic interpersonal skills • Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time • Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties • Ability to participate in a call schedule/rotation at some inpatient locations • Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds • Physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation • Adherence to necessary training/licenses based on credentialing policy
