📋 Description

• Perform preventive maintenance on Varian Medical Systems linear accelerators, imaging systems, and associated medical equipment • Complete specific periodic and preventive maintenance activities outside normal business hours according to documented procedures • Manage time and maintain daily/weekly schedules across the designated service region • Recognize and escalate incidents and request assistance from experienced representatives or leadership when necessary • Complete and submit field service work orders and expense reports • Manage consignment parts and required documentation according to VMS procedures • Communicate required follow-up actions to the primary assigned representative • Represent Varian Medical Systems while supporting customer equipment and maintaining customer relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent time management and professional communication skills • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Frequent use and application of technical documentation, standards, principles, concepts, and techniques • Basic knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems • Familiarity with Digital Multimeter (DVM/DMM) and Digital Oscilloscope • Basic technical experience with micro-computers/PC-based systems • Basic technical knowledge and experience with simple hand tools • Maintain Vendor Credentialing status and compliance with company and customer requirements • High school degree or equivalent required • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence • No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by applicable law • Ability to complete required VMS training classes for HW Preventive Maintenance • Familiarity with E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers’ client sites and meet applicable credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
