📋 Description

• Partner with Account Executives to drive end-to-end sales cycles for Enterprise merchants as the primary technical authority. • Lead executive-level technical presentations and solution design sessions for merchant CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of Product. • Own technical validation, including complex RFPs and high-stakes Proof of Concept engagements. • Design and architect API integrations tailored to merchant industries, business practices, and solution requirements. • Translate merchant requirements into integration schemas, data-flow designs, and data requirements. • Lead technical discovery with merchant engineering and product teams to define scope, data requirements, success criteria, and milestones. • Ensure integration designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Signifyd’s platform and API standards. • Evaluate fraud risk profiles and recommend integration and data strategies supporting model performance and financial guarantee eligibility. • Define high-quality training signals for new merchant categories. • Partner with Data Science to validate model performance against merchant-specific datasets. • Represent merchant technical needs to Product and Data Science teams. • Contribute evidence-based recommendations to the product roadmap. • Partner with Implementation Managers during complex onboardings to ensure continuity between architecture and delivery. • Travel 25–30% to visit merchants and attend industry events.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a Solutions Architect, Principal Solutions Engineer, or equivalent senior technical customer-facing role. • Hands-on experience designing and architecting API integrations. • Authority in LLM/AI, REST, webhooks, data schemas, event-driven architectures, and ecommerce integration patterns. • Meaningful exposure to bot mitigation/management, identity threat protection, digital identity, fraud detection, risk decisioning, payments processing, agentic commerce, chargebacks, or adjacent fintech domains. • Working familiarity with machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, improvement, and fraud-decisioning data. • Track record working directly with enterprise merchants, retailers, or B2C brands at significant scale ($500M+ annual revenue or equivalent complexity). • Ability to build technical credibility and trusted relationships with engineering leaders and C-suite stakeholders. • Experience co-selling in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals alongside a quota-carrying Account Executive. • Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and growth-stage company conditions. • Nice to have: chargeback representment, dispute resolution, acquiring/issuing bank ecosystem, major ecommerce platforms, fraud prevention/payments/identity/risk intelligence experience, named-account programs, and program/project management.
