📋 Description

• Manage collection activities for assigned third-party portfolios, including financial loan accounts • Conduct professional collection calls with past-due customers and negotiate payment arrangements within established client guidelines and risk parameters • Apply advanced collection techniques to resolve delinquent accounts while maintaining a customer-focused approach • Assess account risk and escalate accounts requiring additional action • Accurately document collection activity, account updates, promises to pay, and payment arrangements in collection systems • Apply negotiation, objection-handling, and problem-solving skills to manage challenging conversations • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, client expectations, and industry best practices • Achieve individual collection targets and contribute to departmental performance goals • Support team success through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence • Complete additional collection responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a third-party collection agency • Previous experience supporting Schedule A bank portfolios is strongly preferred • Proven track record of managing high-performing frontline collection desks and achieving performance targets • Strong performance history with a demonstrated commitment to compliance and quality standards • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct effective collection conversations • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and secure payment commitments • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Ability to adapt and perform successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment • Commitment to continuous learning and career development • Candidates must reside in Quebec
