📋 Description

• Development of geological models or interpretations • Construction of block models for mineral resource and mineral reserve estimates • Participation in the preparation of NI 43-101 Reports or international equivalents • Perform due diligence reviews to support project financing, and mergers and acquisitions • Project management, including leadership of other geologists and third-party consulting groups • Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological findings and interpretations with those of other scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines • Ensuring successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction • Prepare proposals and contribute to the development and execution of service line, business sector, and client business development plans • Liaise and build relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery • Mentor junior geologists and participate in internal and external training/mentorship opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar geological role in the mining or environmental services industry • Significant knowledge of Seequent’s Leapfrog Geo and Edge modelling software • Knowledge of an additional mining software package such as Datamine/Vulcan/Surpac/Micromine is considered an asset • Experience with 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and drill planning • Knowledge of geostatistical mineral resource estimation fundamentals • Undergraduate degree in the geosciences • Registered Licensed Professional such as P.Geo. or equivalent • Master’s degree preferred
