Smooth Commerce is an all-in-one SaaS digital ordering, customer marketing, and loyalty platform built for restaurants, hospitality and multi-unit brands. The white‑label platform provides web ordering, native mobile apps, an order tablet and a merchant portal with built-in loyalty, segmentation and marketing tools, plus integrations with POS, delivery, payment and gift systems to help operators increase revenue, reduce marketplace fees, and centralize customer data and operations.

📋 Description

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports • Prepare weekly operational cash flow forecasts • Execute accounting activities including payables, accounts receivables, revenue recognition, GL maintenance, bank/Float payments and reconciliations • Prepare, calculate and submit quarterly PST and GST/HST returns • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors to assist with annual Notice to Reader statements • Assist management and other departments with data and analytics • Support the Director of Finance with ad-hoc management reporting • Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance in regular monthly accounting activities

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuit of CPA Electives (Completed CPA Core Levels) is required • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and/or related field is preferred • 5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience with progressive responsibilities • Strong understanding of key accounting principles • Flexible, curious and open-minded approach in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
