📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive UX reviews of existing products and workflows • Identify friction points and recommend improvements based on established UX principles • Evaluate new features before development to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle • Create user flows, prototypes, and interactive designs where appropriate • Introduce UX methodologies and best practices into the product development process • Establish design standards, interaction patterns, and usability guidelines • Recommend improvements to navigation, information architecture, accessibility, and overall product consistency • Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap prioritization through a UX lens • Evaluate product decisions based on customer outcomes, usability, and market competitiveness • Identify opportunities where improved experience creates strategic product differentiation • Balance usability improvements against technical realities and product priorities • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback • Embed UX thinking into planning, estimation, feature discovery, and product reviews • Mentor developers and stakeholders on user-centered design principles • Build relationships with Product and Development teams as a trusted design partner • Identify high-impact usability improvements across legacy and modern platforms • Help establish a shared design language and interaction standards

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional UI/UX design experience • Significant experience improving B2B SaaS products • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex software applications, not just marketing websites • Expertise in user-centered design methodologies • Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility standards • Excellent communication and facilitation skills • Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and advocate for user needs while balancing business objectives and technical realities • Experience working with Agile product teams • Bonus: CRM, ERP, case management, fundraising, or enterprise software experience • Bonus: Experience modernizing or evolving established enterprise software products • Bonus: Experience with software serving nonprofit organizations • Bonus: Design system creation and governance • Bonus: UX research and usability testing • Bonus: Accessibility (WCAG) expertise
