📋 Description

• Serve as technical leader and technical owner of the product platform • Maintain deep knowledge of system architecture and guide its long-term technical evolution • Design, develop, and maintain Java and C++ software components across product releases • Drive integration and evolution of AI/ML capabilities across the product line • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define technical solutions and prioritize engineering work • Establish software architecture, engineering standards, coding standards, and development best practices • Lead and participate in estimates, technical feasibility assessments, implementation, code reviews, debugging, risk analysis, and performance optimization • Ensure software quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and code quality practices • Support product deployments and escalate complex software defects and technical issues • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architecture and development-process improvements • Provide estimates, feasibility assessments, risks, and recommendations for custom development versus standard product solutions • Create and maintain architecture, design, API, and engineering documentation • Review customer-facing knowledge articles and support resources requiring development expertise • Travel to user sites when on-site development expertise is required • Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, software engineering practices, cybersecurity requirements, and industry trends • Provide technical input on server, hosting, and environment requirements and support escalated infrastructure issues • Own platform architecture and technical evolution, including scalability, modernization, technical debt, performance, security, and maintainability • Champion source control, automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding, release readiness, API design, and software observability • Participate in customer engagements involving architecture, integrations, feasibility, solution design, and complex troubleshooting • Identify, document, and escalate cybersecurity concerns • Protect confidential company and customer information, source code, credentials, system information, and sensitive data • Partner with executive leadership, product stakeholders, and support teams to align technical priorities with customer needs and business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a software developer providing technical leadership and ownership • Java, C/C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills • Experience with software requirements and software development processes • Configuration management • Object-Oriented Design (OOD) • Software debugging • Experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities using modern LLMs, APIs, vector search, prompt engineering, or related technologies • Ability to collaborate with product, business, technical, executive, and customer stakeholders • Ability to work autonomously and provide sound technical judgment • Ability to work outside standard business hours when reasonably necessary for critical issues, releases, deployments, or time-sensitive technical needs • Ability to travel throughout North America, averaging approximately 15% • Must pass applicable identity, employment, background, drug and alcohol, reference, and customer-required security screenings • Must be a U.S. citizen due to applicable customer and regulatory requirements • Preferred: Experience developing software for mission-critical or complex operational environments • Preferred: Experience with real-time visualization systems, SQL databases, software integration, and modern software deployment practices
