📋 Description

• Clear DTEC's development backlog and stabilise the product • Agree scope and dates for backlog items with engineering leadership • Investigate and fix DTEC product defects, including legacy Visual FoxPro code • Improve release quality and reduce repeat support issues • Gather requirements from customers • Estimate effort and agree project scope before work starts • Develop, test and deploy customisations, reports, data fixes and integrations for DTEC and Shea customers, including SYSPRO work • Provide customers with regular status updates and manage change requests • Track time accurately against projects for monthly billing • Build and maintain Vue, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL components as DTEC modernises • Use Jira and Git, document changes and hand over cleanly to support • Share knowledge and establish good practices for other developers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years developing or customising ERP or business software, including customer-facing project work • Visual FoxPro development experience • Production experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL • Strong SQL and data skills • Experience estimating work and delivering to agreed dates • Comfortable with billable, time-tracked work • Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical customers • Legally authorized to work in Canada • Set up for remote work • SYSPRO development or customisation experience (nice to have) • Android or Xamarin (nice to have) • Distribution, food & beverage or manufacturing industry experience (nice to have) • Report writing, e.g. Crystal Reports or SSRS, and ERP integration experience (nice to have) • Jira (nice to have)
