📋 Description

• Develop and maintain expert disease and procedure classification encoding software for HIM clients using an intermediate logic-based programming language • Test and perform quality control measures on expert software • Provide timely and accurate answers to coding and expert software questions to promote customer relations • Keep software current with country coding guidelines, classification system revisions, official regulations, guidelines, customer enhancements, marketing enhancements, and update deadlines • Lead development and implementation of improvements and solutions to work processes and tools • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards • Travel up to 10% domestically as needed • Attend on-site onboarding at a designated company location during initial employment days for start dates of October 1, 2025 or later

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and four (4) years of hospital coding experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) years of hospital coding experience • HIM credential: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC — one or more • BSIT, BSN or RN or equivalent job experience • Good communication, oral presentation and writing skills • Good analytical and problem-solving ability • Ability to work well within a team • Coding and clinical knowledge, including disease processes, procedures, and anatomy • Ability to interpret coding rules/regulations and incorporate them into databases • Intermediate logic design and programming knowledge preferred, including HTML, C, C++, etc. • Ability to use coding expertise and logic creatively for code assignment • Working knowledge of Jdelphi and Jira preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status • Must provide education and work history
