📋 Description

• Provide part-time Subject Matter Expertise support to the PEO IWS Directed Energy PAPM on ongoing development, testing, and fielding of directed energy systems • Keep program leadership current with the latest developments, including developments critical to future Navy directed energy weapon system programs • Represent the program to Science and Technology communities • Analyze applicability of directed energy Science and Technology research for appropriate weapon missions • Infuse advanced technology into PEO IWS programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field of study; MS is preferred • 10+ years of demonstrated expertise with the development, testing, and analysis of directed energy (laser, high-powered microwave) weapons systems • DoD Secret clearance or higher • Ability to maintain clearance throughout employment • Ability to travel up to 5-10%
