📋 Description

• Facilitate 90-minute learning sessions aligned to the course’s didactic curriculum and TS-C certification exam objectives. • Lead engaging, motivational sessions that reinforce key concepts and build learner confidence. • Prepare independently for live sessions. • Deliver demonstrations and walkthroughs of surgical concepts, workflows, instrumentation, and operating room best practices. • Lead dedicated TS-C certification review sessions using NCCT-aligned preparation strategies. • Help learners understand how classroom concepts translate into real-world operating room practices. • Collaborate with mentors and the Springboard team to continuously improve learner outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working as a Surgical Technician in an acute care hospital or surgical setting. • Current Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) credential through NCCT or current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA. • Active certification must be maintained throughout employment. • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Surgical Technology (eg: training, precepting experience). • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an online program. • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex surgical concepts for learners with little or no prior healthcare experience. • Deep knowledge of: • Aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance • Surgical instrumentation • Patient positioning and OR safety • Surgical counts and specimen handling • General and specialty surgical procedures • TS-C certification exam content and preparation strategies • Passion for coaching adult learners entering the healthcare workforce.
