• Independently lead multiple concurrent projects, programs, or strategic customer orders from order handoff through final closeout • Serve as the primary customer interface and maintain relationships with key stakeholders • Establish project strategies, schedules, milestones, deliverables, communication plans, and acceptance criteria • Lead kickoff meetings, execution reviews, risk reviews, and closeout activities • Manage project scope and change management activities • Resolve complex technical, commercial, operational, and execution issues • Provide leadership during escalated project situations • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, field service, procurement, logistics, quality, vendors, subcontractors, customers, and leadership teams • Manage project financial performance, including forecasts, margins, revenue recognition, cash flow, milestone billing, and cost management • Identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, contracts, regulations, and quality systems • Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable project documentation • Lead lessons learned, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives • Support audits, process reviews, quality initiatives, and organizational strategic objectives • Mentor, coach, and develop project managers and support personnel as needed • Conduct customer, supplier, manufacturing, and site visits as required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline preferred • Equivalent combinations of technical education, certifications, and directly related experience may be considered • Typically requires 8–12+ years of relevant experience • Typically requires 5+ years of project management experience supporting electrical equipment, rotating equipment, energy systems, manufacturing, industrial systems, or large capital projects • Demonstrated experience managing complex, customer-facing technical projects required • PMP certification preferred • Equivalent project management methodology experience may be considered • Advanced understanding of electrical industrial systems, rotating equipment, motors, generators, power electronics, and system integration • Advanced knowledge of NEMA, IEC, IEEE, UL, and related technical standards • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, and project lifecycle management principles • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and project management tools; SAP experience preferred • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities • Ability to manage multiple highly complex projects simultaneously • Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States • WEG does not offer visa sponsorship for this role
