📋 Description
• Manage small- to medium-scale projects • Act as discipline lead on medium- to large-scale projects • Research, design, analyze, and recommend various technical solutions • Design, calculate, and verify mechanical and industrial systems • Perform preliminary sizing and select specialized equipment • Provide technical support and advice to colleagues and clients • Plan and conduct or oversee site surveys • Participate in preparing service proposals, including effort and schedule estimates and defining the scope of work • Supervise the work of technicians, engineers, and junior engineers (CPI) within projects • Provide coaching and mentoring
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and active membership in good standing with the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering consulting • Functional proficiency in English as a working language • A general construction-site health and safety certificate (ASP) is required for work in industrial plants and on construction sites
