📋 Description

• Lead international transportation operations for green coffee shipments, ensuring reliable movement from origin to global destinations • Manage ocean freight execution across multiple trade lanes, partnering with carriers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and control towers to maintain service, capacity, and transit performance • Monitor shipping demand, capacity trends, and transportation risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect coffee supply and business continuity • Support carrier strategy, routing optimization, network planning, and transportation sourcing initiatives • Analyze transportation performance and communicate operational risks, market conditions, and network insights through dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting • Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting, drive data-informed decision-making, and support supply chain resiliency initiatives • Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on service, visibility, operational efficiency, and cost optimization • Serve as the transportation subject matter expert, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex logistics challenges and support strategic network initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in international transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain operations • Experience supporting agricultural commodities, food & beverage, or CPG supply chains • Knowledge of global ocean transportation markets, carrier capacity planning, and network optimization • Experience with transportation sourcing, carrier performance management, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) • Familiarity with real-time visibility platforms and supply chain analytics tools
