📋 Description

• Define project goals, scope and deliverables with business and R&D management • Build and execute project work plans, schedules and resource plans • Secure required project resources • Lead cross-functional and cross-divisional teams of business analysts, developers and validation analysts • Assign tasks based on team members’ strengths using Agile or hybrid practices • Track project budget, performance, spend, forecasts and progress • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes • Escalate issues to the Program Manager when needed • Provide status reports and decision-support information to stakeholders, sponsors, executives and management • Support portfolio planning through status, capacity and dependency information • Ensure project documentation and deliverables meet quality and validation requirements • Coordinate with external vendors and partners • Capture lessons learned and obtain final sponsor and stakeholder approval • Follow applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline is required • 5+ years of experience managing software or R&D projects • Business systems analysis or software development experience will be considered • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and hybrid project delivery • Experience with project tracking and reporting tools, e.g. Jira • Experience managing project risks • Experience with LIMS, laboratory informatics or regulated software environments is nice to have • PMP certification is nice to have • CSM or other Agile certification is nice to have
