📋 Description

• Train, coach, and motivate staff according to departmental performance objectives and goals • Provide coaching and feedback • Serve as a technical resource to premium auditors and liaise with underwriting, accounting, and collections • Review audits for accuracy and compliance and recommend improvements • Address and respond to bureau criticism • Oversee Test Audit Programs and bureau reporting • Conduct highly complex Commercial Lines audits for workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto policies • Review insured operations and analyze payroll records, tax returns/filings, and general/expense ledgers to determine final exposures • Validate class codes against regulatory agencies, state bureaus, and company procedures • Cultivate internal and external business relationships to fulfill client expectations • Communicate with business partners regarding disputes, escalations, and business needs

🎯 Requirements

• High degree of experience and technical knowledge of NCCI, WCRIB, and ISO manuals • Strong decision-making ability in complex audit handling scenarios while balancing bureau rules and regulations • 7+ years of premium audit or insurance audit experience • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience • Superior organization, attention to detail, and workload management skills • Experience thriving in a remote environment • APA certification is a plus • NEXUSAudit™ knowledge and experience highly preferred
