📋 Description

• Lead a team spanning Compliance, Integration & Support, and DevOps across Sophia Learning and Workforce Edge • Support SOC1 and SOC2 compliance activities and corporate-led SOX compliance efforts • Coordinate technical evidence gathering, control documentation, remediation, and audit responses • Partner with security, internal audit, and legal teams to identify gaps and improve compliance posture • Oversee data pipelines, APIs, data exchange processes, integrations, and partner onboarding • Manage the Integration & Support team and ensure timely resolution of partner and platform technical issues • Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to deliver new integrations • Establish and maintain SLAs and operational metrics • Lead CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, cloud environment management, reliability, monitoring, and incident management • Manage and optimize AWS and GCP infrastructure • Drive automated deployments and environment consistency • Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response to maximize uptime and reliability • Collaborate with engineering to improve build, test, and deployment pipelines • Lead, mentor, and develop Technical Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and Technical Operations Specialists • Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration • Provide updates on project status, risks, and operational health • Make timely decisions regarding tradeoffs, risk, and technical implications • Communicate technical topics clearly to technical operations, engineering, product, and executive leadership • Ensure security and integrity of information systems and data

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical operations, DevOps, Compliance, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or DevSecOps • 4+ years of experience managing technical teams • 2+ years of experience with SOC1, SOC2, or SOX compliance processes • 2+ years of hands-on or management experience in GCP or AWS • Experience managing data integrations or API-based partner ecosystems preferred • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • CISA, CISSP, AWS, or GCP certifications preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize across compliance, integrations, and infrastructure • Strong understanding of SOC1, SOC2, SOX, and audit processes • Experience managing data integrations, APIs, and partner-facing technical operations • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and incident management • Proficiency with AWS and GCP • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools • Experience championing AI tools and intelligent automation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to travel occasionally when business needs arise • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Ability to access information using a computer
