📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable bank integration infrastructure • Work across the stack to create intelligent systems that adapt to banking-partner availability • Enable connectivity for new countries and product use cases • Lead large technical projects by translating business goals into technical requirements and executing effectively • Align the technology stack with Stripe’s strategic initiatives and advocate for emerging businesses • Collaborate with engineers across the company to deliver reliable access to trustworthy banking data • Balance short-term requirements with long-term roadmaps, business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations • Mentor and collaborate with engineers and managers to develop future leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems • Comfortable working on a new product under fluid conditions, balancing tactical and strategic considerations • Track record of leading and shipping complex cross-team projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through production and operations • Ability to measure success in terms of business impact • Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset • Ability to work well cross-functionally and earn trust from co-workers at all levels • Preference for simple, scalable solutions and designs • Care deeply about mentorship and growing engineers
