📋 Description

• Ensure policies, operations, and workflows align with the needs of financial partners • Manage workflows affecting cross-functional internal and external stakeholders • Identify and assess regulatory, contractual, and partner risk • Advise operational teams on scalable processes, service-level agreement compliance, routine reporting, and risk mitigation • Evaluate merchants for suitability to process on Stripe • Identify trends and report findings to cross-functional teams to improve detection systems • Contribute to enhancing and optimizing due diligence strategy systems and tools • Build and scale processes across the risk operations ecosystem • Identify system, policy, and strategy gaps and recommend improvements to mitigate emerging risks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or operations in a fast-moving environment • Experience scaling operational processes and driving quantifiable improvements • Experience working cross-functionally on complex problems • Ability to use data to quantify problems, tell a story, and influence a solution • Ability and desire to challenge the status quo • Creative, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented problem solving from a customer perspective • Experience analyzing feedback patterns and using insights to drive process and tooling improvements • Strong ownership, accountability, and ambition toward goals • Empathy for entrepreneurs and motivation to solve problems that empower them • Preferred: Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in a financial technology environment • Preferred: Knowledge of payment processing systems and associated risks
