📋 Description

• Build and maintain the Supabase Cloud offering • Design and implement systems to provision, scale, and manage multi-region compute workloads • Own the full lifecycle of compute orchestration, including project creation, warm pools, autoscaling, resizing, and resource optimization • Improve automation and observability across the compute stack • Improve system architecture to reduce costs while balancing security, reliability, and performance • Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage compute as a core platform offering • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews • Resolve escalated support issues and identify and resolve systemic platform issues

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills; Go and TypeScript required • Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale • 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure; AWS required • Experience with compute, networking, and storage services • 3+ years of experience building custom Kubernetes controllers • Experience operating large-scale clusters with tens to hundreds of thousands of pods • Knowledge of networking and multi-region infrastructure design • Familiarity with Postgres • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools; Pulumi highly preferred, Terraform/CDK acceptable • Experience with QEMU, KVM, and NAS is a plus • Experience participating in on-call rotations for large production systems
