• Support the Strategic Finance side of the Corporate Finance team, covering Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations / Capital Markets • Build unit economics frameworks and custom financial models informing go/no-go decisions on new products, features, and growth tests • Pressure test proposed initiatives using break-even lift, maximum affordable offer, payback period, and contribution per member • Partner with Growth, Product, and Analytics to model financial impacts and size trade-offs between investment options • Work with the data team to track post-launch product performance against the underwritten case and flag deviations from plan • Turn financial results and KPIs into clear, decision-ready readouts for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership • Support additional Corporate Finance projects, including market screens and diligence support • Participate in team meetings, Slack chats, and social events as part of the remote intern experience
• Strong interest in how a consumer tech business makes money and in finance work that decides where capital goes • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, working across multiple data sets to extract insights • Working knowledge of financial modeling: driver-based forecasts, cohort retention, LTV and CAC, and contribution margin • Sharp analytical acumen and comfortability with using data to tell a story • Exposure to SQL or BI tools (Snowflake, Looker, Amplitude) is a plus, not a requirement • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to defend a number to a senior audience • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment • Organized, proactive, and creative problem solver • Willingness to learn in an ambiguous environment • Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada • Minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone • Available to work a 40-hour work week • Must work during core working hours of 9/10 am–5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, barring pre-approved time off • Must reside in the country where their school is located for the complete duration of the internship
