• Conduct deep-dive investigations into customer accounts and transactions • Synthesize complex evidence to drive high-integrity case decisions • Use data mining across transaction and behavioral datasets to identify fraud trends and emerging risk vectors • Monitor fraud dashboards and real-time alerts to mitigate financial losses • Collaborate with Payments, Customer Support, Product, Fraud Analysts, and Operations leaders • Execute fraud and chargeback initiatives • Drive special projects to scale travel fraud playbooks, internal tooling, and reporting frameworks • Work across Super.com’s Travel business, including Hotels, Flights, and Things to Do
• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Criminology, or a related field of study • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups • Prior exposure to SQL or BI tools is highly advantageous • 1–2 years of relevant professional or internship experience is preferred • Proven aptitude for data analysis or investigative work through academic projects, co-op placements, or extracurricular initiatives • Sharp attention to detail and ability to synthesize patterns and identify anomalies within complex datasets • Critical thinker and proactive problem-solver able to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment • Rapid learner with a strong sense of ownership and desire to make a tangible impact within a high-growth startup • Prior experience or exposure to fraud mitigation, risk management, payments, travel e-commerce, or customer operations is a bonus • Maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone • Available to work a 40-hour work week • Residing in Canada for the complete duration of the internship • Internship must be part of the applicant’s academic program or completed independently, as applicable • Unofficial grade report required with application
