📋 Description
• Helping Account Managers and the Supply Team as needed to oversee accounts • Using Looker, our BI tool of choice to identify areas of opportunity to grow the business and unlock better prices for our customers • Exploratory data analysis to uncover areas of improvement operationally and technically • Summarizing findings for Account Managers based on findings from your research • Ongoing tasks include preparing bi-weekly errors and competitiveness data for team calls, monthly technical tier updates and document creation • Create & maintain existing documentation for common tasks, analysis, and processes • Ad hoc projects as they arise - can be self directed or in tandem with teammates
🎯 Requirements
• Comfort with data - you don't need to be a data savant, but you should comfortably know how to do basic spreadsheet analysis (VLookup, HLookup, Pivot Tables, Index/Match). Experience with a BI tool is a plus. • Adaptability - your role may require you to join supplier meetings one day, and the next day focus on improving internal processes. Comfort and ability to excel in ambiguity is required. • Self-starter - interns play a huge role on our team. Having a strong work ethic and go-getter attitude is essential in this remote work environment. • Summarization skills - Highlighting relevant insights from data, and separating the signal from the noise is a key component of this role. • Hunger and grit - you care about the best deals and how to get them.
