📋 Description

• Take designs from the design team and bring them to life in React • Collaborate with designers and engineers to scope features and product direction • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and sound architecture • Write maintainable, clear, well-architected code, tests, and documentation • Discuss and establish frontend architecture standards and patterns for adoption as the company scales • Make direct technical contributions and provide guidance to team members • Contribute across the codebase where needed • Help build and scale Taekus's banking systems, rewards infrastructure, partner integrations, and travel rewards credit card web portal

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably at a startup or big tech company • Experience building production-grade software with React, TypeScript, and Redux • Experience building aesthetic UI with high-quality UX • Experience interacting with databases directly with SQL and through APIs • Experience leading engineering teams and setting design standards and patterns in code (nice to have) • Experience with Django, Python, Expo Go, and Postgres (nice to have) • Experience writing code in a heavily regulated industry like financial services (nice to have) • Must answer whether visa sponsorship is required to work in the United States • Must be able to travel to San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Austin for an onsite interview
