📋 Description

• Conduct UX research, primarily usability and quality-validation testing • Maintain the social and technical systems that make research repeatable and scalable • Report to the design manager and collaborate with the current UX researcher, product designers, product managers, and engineers • Handle a backlog of studies, initially focusing heavily on one large ongoing project • Grow toward owning research direction for one or more product areas with increasing autonomy • Own the full study lifecycle from recruiting and scoping through analysis, communicating results, and identifying and collaborating on opportunities • Evaluate shipped features and validate design assumptions • Coach designers and PMs through study design, result interpretation, and next steps • Build reusable research enablement assets, templates, reference guides, skills, and workflows • Maintain and improve the research library, including documentation, tags, project organization, and findability • Manage and maintain the research tool stack and supporting resources • Review continuous feedback and ensure issues and friction points are tracked by relevant EPD pods • Manage the participant panel, invitations, list quality, and project cleanup • Process study compensation, file receipts, and track study budget utilization • Handle vendor renewals and procurement coordination with legal, finance, and the senior researcher

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related applied research field • Strong usability testing skills across qualitative and experimental approaches • Proficiency with survey design • Ability to learn and deploy higher-precision quantitative methods as needed • Solid grounding in structured and semi-structured qualitative interviewing • Mixed-methods fluency across qualitative and quantitative approaches • Clear, effective communication and ability to tailor research findings for different audiences • Ability to advocate for insights in cross-functional settings • Experience independently managing research logistics, including recruiting, scheduling, compensation, and study operations • Experience working in developer tooling, enterprise, security, or networking
