⢠Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. ⢠Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales team. ⢠Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for professional development. ⢠Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with organizational goals. ⢠Identify market opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly. ⢠Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. ⢠Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve and exceed them. ⢠Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence. ⢠Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. ⢠Strategically build and expand the sales team across Canada, considering regional market dynamics. ⢠Recruit, onboard, and train new team members. ⢠Implement effective communication channels to ensure seamless collaboration among remote team members. ⢠Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the sales team. ⢠Regularly analyze sales performance data and provide insightful reports to senior management. ⢠Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
⢠Bachelor's Degree with a scientific discipline is preferred (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics). ⢠7-10 years of sales experience. ⢠Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a leadership role. ⢠Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and market dynamics. ⢠Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. ⢠Ability to lead and inspire a geographically dispersed team. ⢠Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. ⢠Experience in building and expanding sales teams across diverse regions. ⢠Experience in the laboratory distribution field a plus. ⢠Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
