📋 Description

• Design and optimize data pipelines and architectures for AI/ML workflows on cloud platforms • Develop ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility • Configure and manage AI/ML-ready cloud infrastructure, including AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI • Collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalize models and enable scalable AI solutions • Implement data governance, versioning, and lineage tracking for compliance • Monitor and maintain high-performance data systems and optimize throughput • Support HUD AI/ML proofs of concept and pilots • Collaborate with Data Scientists, DevOps, and UX teams • Document reproducible workflows and contribute to iterative Agile development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering for AI/ML workflows • Expertise in cloud-native data systems and large-scale data processing • Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, reproducible workflows, and federal compliance • Previous experience supporting HUD OCIO preferred • Ability to pass required Federal background screening and obtain and maintain both government clearance and customer approval • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Proficiency with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, S3, Redshift, and Data Factory • Experience with Airflow, Spark, and Databricks • Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and optimization for AI workloads • Proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and logging • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • May occasionally need to lift up to 25 pounds
