📋 Description

• Design and build the governed semantic and metrics layer • Define metrics once, in code, for consistency across all dashboards • Design and build curated, well-documented, tested data models on Redshift • Create embedded, self-serve analytics experiences inside Tango's products • Structure the semantic definitions and documentation for AI querying • Lead the Oracle BI to Omni migration, extracting business logic from legacy reports • Mentor engineers and contractors, raising the craft bar through reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 8 or more years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence • Expert SQL and strong dimensional and semantic data modeling • Deep experience in a transformation framework such as dbt • Strong command of a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift or Snowflake • Analytics-engineering discipline: version control, testing, CI/CD, lineage • Hands-on experience building embedded, multi-tenant, customer-facing analytics • Experience migrating off a legacy BI platform (Oracle BI, Cognos, etc.) is a plus • Understanding of how AI consumes analytics and how to build for that • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
