📋 Description

• Lead a key portfolio of five or more programs supporting the air armaments community in adopting MOSA, software verification, and platform interoperability for U.S. Department of War customers • Serve as a bridge between customer needs and technical delivery • Shape mission-relevant solutions and translate requirements into executable program deliverables • Support capture and growth activities and mature opportunities with customers, the growth team, and engineering • Define value propositions and prioritize investments across programs • Ensure solutions are scalable and relevant across the portfolio • Establish, build, and deepen relationships with portfolio customers • Secure follow-on work and drive measurable portfolio growth • Ensure successful execution of portfolio programs against contractual commitments, including technical delivery on schedule and on budget • Communicate portfolio performance to Tangram leadership and other stakeholders • Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Tech Lead • Balance customer mission, pipeline growth, portfolio health, strategy, growth, and execution objectives • Manage performance consistency, risk, and return on investment across multiple initiatives • Collaborate with government customers, primes, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders • Guide cross-functional teams delivering complex technical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in program leadership and/or technical oversight of defense projects • Current or recent U.S. Government Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain one • U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Operations Management, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role • Minimum of 8 years managing, supporting, or leading technical programs in a Federal Government environment • Experience ideally involving development and integration of new mission systems • Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, including DoW software and systems engineering environments, adaptable and affordable systems, testing, and systems integration • Demonstrated experience growing the scope or value of programs or portfolios organically within the DoW market • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively • Demonstrated ability to lead and/or support teams to success • Understanding of government and industry program/project management tasks and execution methods • Understanding of Federal acquisition processes, contracting mechanisms, and compliance requirements • Excellent time and resource management skills • Ability to manage multiple complex, multidisciplinary tasks and projects • Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite products • Demonstrated competency in written and oral communication • Ability to travel 20% of the time • Ability to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 8 hours per day • Ability to lift and carry lightweight items up to 25 lbs. • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment • Visual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems • Auditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including potentially noisy environments • Mobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments • Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments • Desired: Current active U.S. Government Security Clearance • Desired: Prior experience supporting the air armaments community in adopting MOSA within DoW • Desired: Prior experience supporting software verification and platform interoperability within DoW
