📋 Description

• Drive strategic initiatives that are critical to Tap’s growth • Lead the company’s data strategy, acting as the cross functional owner of data product development, partnerships, operations, and go-to-market • Drive strategic partnerships with LPs, GPs, and software companies, such as for the acquisition of private fund data • Create and maintain models behind valuation estimates, indices, and other Data Products • Generate periodic reports and topical research utilizing data • Drive adoption and awareness of Tap by syndicating data and research into news publications, portfolio management systems, service providers, and other third parties • Devise and structure new transaction modalities, such as instant transactions or synthetic trading • Support the financial business planning process including cash flow planning, fundraising, financial reporting, compliance, M&A, and exit planning • Contribute to the big picture of company strategy and vision

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a secondaries buyer or investment banker • Deep understanding of private fund investments including the goals of market participants and the mechanics of private funds • Business owner mentality with a willingness to wear multiple hats • Experience working in small, agile teams • Comfortable in a highly dynamic environment • Leadership experience at a venture backed startup • Experience pricing funds in secondary transactions across multiple asset classes
