📋 Description
• Build and own outbound pipeline into CROs and pharma/biotech Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Quality/Regulatory teams • Generate meetings through outbound prospecting rather than working inherited leads • Run the full sales cycle from first conversation through multi-stakeholder evaluation to signed contract • Navigate buying committees spanning Clinical Operations, Data Management, Quality, and IT/data governance • Represent Espresso Clinical at industry events such as DIA, SCOPE, and ACRP • Partner directly with the founder to shape sales strategy, positioning, and go-to-market strategy as the company's first commercial hire • Bring market and buyer feedback into the business to help shape product priorities and packaging
🎯 Requirements
• 5–8+ years selling into CROs, pharma/biotech Clinical Operations, Data Management, or Quality/Regulatory • Ideally, experience selling at an EDC, CTMS, eTMF, RBQM/central monitoring, or clinical data platform vendor • Track record as a new-logo hunter who builds pipeline from cold outbound leads while also developing existing relationships • Experience as a first or second commercial hire at an early-stage company (seed to Series B) — good to have • Comfort selling innovative first-in-class solutions and services — good to have • Fluency in GxP, ICH E6(R3), CAPA, protocol deviations, and central monitoring • Ability to sell to CROs and pharma/biotech Clinical Operations, Data Management, Quality/Regulatory, and IT/data governance stakeholders
