📋 Description

• Define the target architecture of the platform, including ingestion, storage, portal, mapping, security and operations; • Guide technical decisions related to real-time data integration, APIs, resilience and scalability; • Design the on-premises deployment model in collaboration with the client’s infrastructure teams; • Oversee the technical quality of deliverables produced by backend, frontend, database and GIS teams; • Define requirements for security, logging, backups, recovery and application hardening; • Contribute to the delivery plan, management of technical risks and the acceptance test plan; • Validate that the solution aligns with mapping, dashboard and data dissemination requirements; • Produce or review architecture documentation, technical diagrams and maintenance guidelines; • Participate in client workshops and support commissioning and knowledge transfer phases;

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience; • Have at least 8 years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership on critical systems; • Demonstrate significant experience delivering on-premises or hybrid application solutions; • Be proficient in data architectures, APIs, real-time data streams and modern integration practices; • Have solid knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS and time-series–oriented platforms (important asset); • Have experience with application security requirements, RBAC, MFA, logging, backups and disaster recovery; • Be comfortable working in multidisciplinary contexts involving web portals, mapping, operational data and support; • Excellent analytical, communication and ability to explain technical concepts to technical teams and clients; • Strong technical writing skills in French and working proficiency in English.
