📋 Description

• Build long-term relationships with the Architecture & Design community • Create interest in and awareness of Teknion products and services as solutions for client requirements • Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with key architecture and design firms in local markets • Lead selling activities, drive initial outreach, and uncover new account opportunities • Build brand awareness and demand through A&D coverage, client visits, mock-up evaluations, and education programs • Coordinate client services including project management, CAD, sampling, pricing recommendations, and specification reviews • Direct team activities alongside the Regional Vice President • Serve as a product-application subject matter expert and respond to complex technical questions • Maintain firm binders, collateral, and training materials • Implement national A&D initiatives and track performance metrics • Share market intelligence, project strategies, sales pipelines, and leads with regional Business Development and Dealer Business Managers • Manage local market events including CEU courses, webinars, guest speakers, and client luncheons • Represent Teknion at design associations and community events such as AIA, IIDA, and ASID • Maintain accurate project and activity logs in Salesforce • Manage assigned expense budgets • Attend regularly and reliably • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or 3–5 years of related industry experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Proven track record of networking, building relationships, and establishing credibility with key A&D influencers and senior decision-makers • Strong product knowledge and commitment to staying current on market trends and product launches • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences • Assertive, confident, highly self-motivated, and results-oriented • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels • LEED Certification preferred, or willingness to pursue certification upon hire • Local market travel required for client visits, showroom presentations, and industry events
