📋 Description

• Define and own the Data Engineering Practice, including market positioning, P&L, talent, and quality of client work • Set the multi-year practice vision and align Data & AI capabilities with enterprise demand • Own pipeline, pricing, delivery margin, revenue growth, and commercial performance • Build senior relationships with Google Cloud partner teams and client executives • Lead the practice's position on ethical AI and data democratisation • Invest in reusable IP, data accelerators, and delivery assets • Advise C-suite executives on data strategy, AI adoption, and organisational capabilities • Set standards for engineering and analytical excellence through hiring and talent development • Report commercial performance to executive leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in data or AI consulting • At least 3–5 years in a practice leadership or executive role • Proven P&L ownership, including revenue, margin, and growth targets • Strong command of modern data architecture, AI and ML trends, cloud-native data platforms, and enterprise data governance • Ability to advise, challenge, and build trust with C-suite stakeholders • Experience generating pipeline and closing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining senior data engineering and consulting talent • Must be authorized to work in Canada; visa sponsorship requirements are addressed in the application
