📋 Description

• Lead design and development of custom software solutions from concept to deployment. • Collaborate across the full product lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and iteration. • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are impactful, cost-efficient, and reliable in production. • Identify risks in code and requirements, proactively offering solutions and tradeoffs. • Lead code reviews, ensure quality standards, and contribute to architectural decisions. • Manage timelines, track progress via Kanban, and communicate updates effectively. • Support and mentor fellow engineers, fostering growth and sharing technical knowledge.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional application development experience. • Strong preference for Java and full-stack development experience. • Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering projects and mentoring developers. • Proven ability to understand business needs and deliver technical and non-technical solutions. • Experience with agile methodologies and iterative delivery. • Bonus Points For Experience leading an engineering team or running a consulting practice. • Familiarity with functional programming languages (Elm, Haskell, OCaml, Elixir). • Previous work in the logistics or supply chain domain.
