📋 Description

• Translate financial and banking content from English into Latvian • Support TransPerfect's client translation needs as part of its freelance linguist database • Complete a client-specific e-learning module • Complete a background check if required during onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Native level of target language • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Specialized in Financial/Banking subject matter • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines • One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Proven experience with finance/banking content • Completion of a short client-specific e-learning module • Willingness to complete a bank-required background check if onboarding proceeds • Must be based in the United States
