• Act as the primary interface with 3–4 NGO partners at any given time, building trust, scoping collaborations, and surfacing pain points through structured discovery • Translate partner needs into roadmaps and technical advisory on product, data, evaluation, and experimentation • Report back on learnings from partner work, trace patterns across organizations, and help release lessons learned as public goods • Build dashboards, data pipelines, AI evaluations and production integrations • Analyze data to extract trends, run A/B tests, and perform user research • Define and drive product roadmaps across TAF's tools • Translate complex partner workflows into clear engineering requirements • Run agile sprints with TAF's engineering team • Ship critical features and own the loop from partner need to shipped product to feedback • Coach partner organization staff on process and upskill their technical and leadership capabilities • Help partner organizations hire for critical roles • Coach and mentor Lighthouse Fellows • Contribute to TAF's internal playbook by documenting effective practices and codifying engagement frameworks • Achieve independent agency on at least two NGO partners within 90 days • Deliver at least one quick win within 90 days • Lead 3–4 partner engagements end-to-end within one year • Train others and contribute to improved frameworks, documented processes, or playbooks within one year
• 5+ years in technical product management, solutions engineering, or tech consulting • Ideally, experience with both client-facing and engineering-facing responsibilities • Meaningful track record in a low-resource, mission-driven, or Tech for International Development context • Shipped AI/LLM product features, data pipelines or warehouses, and production APIs • Ability to read and write SQL, navigate a codebase, and build data pipelines and dashboards • Demonstrated experience using quantitative methods for causal inference, such as A/B tests, or predictive analytics • Ability to design a study, interpret results, and present them to a non-technical program director • Fluent in agile processes, including sprints, backlog grooming, estimation, and retrospectives • Track record managing competing stakeholder needs across engineers, behavioral scientists, and NGO program teams without formal authority • Bonus: experience with global development data stacks such as ODK, DHIS2, Kobo, Metabase, or dbt • Bonus: familiarity with the evidence-based development ecosystem, such as J-PAL, IPA, or IDinsight • Bonus: prior experience at a B2B product company balancing customer success with internal engineering priorities • Bonus: exposure to GenAI product development, including evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM integrations
