📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair a diverse range of high-value analytical instruments, including electron microscopes and chromatography systems • Ensure sophisticated scientific instruments operate at peak performance • Deliver exceptional technical service while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific • Build strong relationships with customers advancing critical research and innovation • Diagnose and solve complex technical problems • Help customers achieve breakthrough discoveries in health, environmental, food safety, and cancer research • Travel to customer facilities and respond to emergency service calls as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; no prior experience required • Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical) or related scientific field preferred • Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus • Strong electronics and mechanical aptitude, including component-level diagnosis • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Fluency in English required • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, MS Office, and service management software • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and documentation • Valid driver's license • Ability to travel up to 50–75% • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods • Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment preferred • Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls • Must be able to obtain necessary credentials to access customer facilities • Strong organizational skills and time-management ability • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards • Ability to work in cleanrooms, laboratories, warehouses, fluctuating temperatures, loud-noise environments, at heights, and with hazardous/toxic materials • Ability to use required personal protective equipment
