• Increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling. • Work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets. • Serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement.
• BS degree required. Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific field. • 5 plus years of work related experience, preferably a mix of lab sales and bench experience. • Laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries and preferred with large equipment sales experience • Must live in the greater Denver area • Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows • Must have a good understanding of Next Gen Sequencing and qPCR applications • Prefer someone with a good understanding of Proteomics and Multiomics integration • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels • A relevant network of contacts within the San Diego territory as defined • Technical experience with proteomics or discovery biomarkers is a plus • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite • Analytical and strategic planning capabilities • Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory • Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
