• Build, operate, and scale CRG Digital’s end-to-end AI engineering and platform capability • Own AI engineering delivery, platform architecture, and the integrated automation layer • Define and scale reusable AI architecture patterns, services, and components • Develop a modern AI-native execution layer using APIs, orchestration frameworks, and automation capabilities • Lead product-aligned engineering teams delivering AI-enabled applications, services, product features, and APIs at scale • Drive adoption of AI-assisted and agent-based development, including code generation, testing, refactoring, documentation, and code review workflows • Establish an AI-amplified engineering operating model and shift engineering focus toward architecture, system design, validation, testing, and quality assurance • Own reliable, high-quality delivery of AI/ML and GenAI solutions and integrated data and feature pipelines • Partner with Solution Architecture to translate use cases into scalable, production-ready solutions • Integrate APIs, system integrations, workflow orchestration, intelligent automation, and RPA as a supporting capability • Enable human-in-the-loop, semi-autonomous, and agentic workflows • Establish end-to-end AI lifecycle management covering development, validation, deployment, monitoring, versioning, performance tracking, and drift detection • Ensure reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, observability, monitoring, auditability, traceability, security, and compliance • Define and manage engineering and platform partner ecosystems and onshore/offshore delivery models • Lead internal capability building in AI engineering, platform engineering, and emerging AI and agentic technologies • Build and lead a high-performing organization across AI engineering, platform engineering, automation, and orchestration • Define roles, skill models, and career paths aligned to future-state AI capabilities • Drive platform adoption, reduced AI deployment time, increased engineering productivity, reusable components, strong system performance, governance, and lifecycle management
• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, engineering, AI/ML, or a related field • Advanced degree preferred • 12 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or technology leadership roles • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations • Experience defining and implementing scalable, reusable platform architectures and shared capability layers in complex enterprise environments • Experience delivering AI/ML and/or GenAI-enabled systems in production • Understanding of model lifecycle, integration patterns, and operational considerations • Experience evolving engineering organizations toward modern, automation-first, and AI-assisted development practices • Success driving improvements in engineering productivity and delivery models, including AI-assisted or agent-based development adoption • Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations with Product, Data, AI, and Business stakeholders • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or life sciences preferred • Understanding of compliance, security, and quality considerations in engineering systems • Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable, reusable architecture patterns • Deep technical and strategic understanding of AI engineering, platform architecture, and modern software systems • Ability to operate at deep technical and executive levels • Strong orientation toward automation, reuse, and platform leverage • Leadership and organizational design experience building and scaling multidisciplinary engineering and platform teams • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to balance speed, quality, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading teams through evolving AI and agentic technologies • Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology proficiently • Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
