📋 Description

• Define and operationalize a CRG-wide AI risk and governance framework aligned with Thermo Fisher enterprise policies and regulatory expectations • Translate regulatory and enterprise risk requirements into scalable governance patterns, templates, and automated controls • Embed compliance into model lifecycle tooling, monitoring systems, audit, and traceability infrastructure • Ensure AI solutions incorporate transparency, explainability, data privacy and security compliance, bias detection and mitigation, auditability, and traceability • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, InfoSec, and Quality teams on global regulatory and internal-policy alignment • Define and operationalize risk tiers for AI use cases, including fast-path, lightweight-review, and formal-governance pathways • Operate as an independent control function within the Applied AI operating model • Integrate risk controls into readiness frameworks, workflow design, lifecycle stage gates, systems, and tooling • Serve as the primary interface with Legal, Privacy, InfoSec, and Quality organizations • Establish a scalable AI governance and risk framework and reduce AI-related compliance, quality, and reputational risk exposure • Support development of a differentiated external AI and workflow transformation offering

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, computer science, digital strategy, or a related field • MBA or advanced degree preferred • 15 years of experience in digital, innovation, strategy, content/knowledge management, or customer-facing leadership roles within clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or technology-enabled services • Ability to translate complex digital, data, and AI concepts for technical and non-technical audiences • Experience developing customer-facing content for bids, proposals, value demonstrations, and executive presentations • Strong executive presence in high-stakes customer and leadership interactions • Ability to influence outcomes in highly matrixed environments without relying on formal authority • Strategic judgment and systems thinking • Exceptional executive communication, narrative clarity, and storytelling skills • Strong content architecture, knowledge management, editorial, and governance skills, including taxonomy, versioning, reuse, and quality control • Stakeholder management across Digital, Commercial, Operations, Marketing, and Executive leadership • Ability to operate in ambiguity and high-stakes situations with emotional intelligence and discretion • Ability to manage and scale work through partners and vendors • Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology proficiently • Ability to work under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities • May require as-needed travel of 0–20% • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
